The past two days have been pretty good.
Today was my mom's birthday so we went out to dinner at this Mexican restaurant. I resisted having my customary cheese quesadilla with anything that I get. Well, my parents got this appetizer that included two small pieces of a chicken and cheese quesadilla with like BBQ wings, chicken fingers, and calamari. It was actually quite a small appetizer, believe it or not. So, I had one of the small chicken and cheese quesadilla pieces plus a small chicken finger tender.
Then I barely touched my grilled chicken Caesar salad (one of my favorite meals; yes, I know, I'm lame). That's all I had all day. Got up kind of late and my stomach has been pretty upset the past two/three days as well. I know it's 10:18pm where I am right now, but I have a feeling I'll be digging into that salad in an hour pending on my stomach, haha.
On top of that, while I rarely drink diet or regular soda, I definitely am cutting it out 100%. Usually I would have it like once or twice every week. Now, I think I'm going to stick with water and Diet Lemon Snapple Iced Tea. On the fast food front, I don't think I've touched that stuff in... a very long time. Probably nearly a year.
So, on the handball front: I emailed a few clubs (more like three) yesterday so I can get some more information. I'm currently waiting for responses back which will probably not happen until after the holidays are over. I'm patient... sometimes.
I decided I can't join team handball until after my EMT-B course is finished in March and I successfully pass it. I made a commitment there first and I have to fulfill that. But it doesn't mean I can't get a head start on gathering information.
